Why we built Chronalio
We kept seeing the same failure mode in a crisis: seconds wasted calling one contact after another, with no shared context. Chronalio exists to close that gap.
The problem we set out to fix
In a crisis, calling one person, then another, wastes the window when help matters most. A missed call or vague text doesn’t tell loved ones where you are or what is happening. Meanwhile, many safety apps ask you to trade privacy for protection, defaulting to always-on tracking that erodes trust.
Our approach
Chronalio is built around trusted circles with explicit roles — Admin, Guardian, Family, and Protected — so the right people see the right context, and no one is watched by default. Chronalio Intelligence briefs you with real weather and honest Journey scores instead of invented numbers. When a place can’t be found or a score can’t be calculated, the app says so.
What we won’t do
- We won’t fabricate crime scores or safety ratings we can’t substantiate.
- We won’t enable always-on surveillance by default.
- We won’t claim guaranteed message delivery over networks we don’t control.
- We won’t sell personal data.
