Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Chronalio uses cookies and similar technologies (including local storage) on the Chronalio marketing website, and how they relate to our web app and progressive web app. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. Categories we use
- Essential — required for the site and Services to work securely: session and authentication storage, security tokens, load balancing, fraud prevention where applicable, and preferences you set (for example theme or cookie choices). These do not require consent under UK/EU ePrivacy rules for strictly necessary storage.
- Analytics (optional) — limited, privacy-conscious page-view measurement on the marketing site via our self-hosted analytics (Umami on Chronalio infrastructure). Analytics are not loaded until you accept them in our cookie banner or preferences. We do not use this category for advertising.
2. What we do not use
We do not use third-party advertising cookies, social tracking pixels for ads, or sell or share cookie data for cross-context behavioural advertising.
3. Your choices (consent)
On first visit to the marketing site, we show a cookies & privacy notice. You can:
- Accept all — essential plus analytics
- Reject non-essential — essential only; analytics stay off
- Manage — turn analytics on or off, then save
You can change your mind anytime via Cookie settings in the site footer. We store your choice in first-party local storage (and similar) with a version and timestamp so we can honour it on later visits. If we materially change cookie categories, we may ask again.
Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in or other core features from working.
4. App and native platforms
The Chronalio mobile and desktop apps rely primarily on account sessions and operating-system permissions (location, microphone, camera, notifications) rather than a website cookie banner. Those permissions are requested in-product when a feature needs them. Web app sessions still use essential storage as described above.
