Data Processing Addendum
Effective date: 25 July 2026
Organizations using Chronalio to coordinate safety for a team, campus, or community (see Solutions) may act as a data controller for their circle\u2019s members, with Chronalio acting as a processor for certain data on their behalf.
1. Roles
For individual and family use, Chronalio is generally the controller of account and safety data. For organizational circles, the organization typically controls who is invited and how the circle is used, while Chronalio processes data to operate the Services.
2. Subprocessors
Chronalio relies on a limited set of subprocessors for hosting, authentication, storage, email/SMS delivery, push notifications, and optional LLM inference for Chronalio Intelligence. The current list is described in our Privacy Policy (Section 8: Sharing and third parties).
3. Security measures
See our Security page for encryption, authentication, and architecture details that apply to data processed on behalf of organizational circles.
4. Requesting a signed DPA
If your organization requires a signed Data Processing Addendum (for example for GDPR Article 28 compliance), contact support@chronalio.com or use the Support form and we will provide current terms for review.
