The four roles
- Admin — manages circle settings, invitations, and membership.
- Guardian — receives HELP alerts and can help coordinate a response.
- Family — stays in the loop on journeys, check-ins, and HELP alerts.
- Protected — can trigger HELP and share journeys, but does not receive HELP fan-out from others.
This mirrors how households actually make decisions during an emergency: some people need to be reachable and responsible, others need to be protected and kept informed without being handed the burden of coordinating a response.
